Fall Flora and Fauna

One of our most requested design motifs are patterns including natural elements. Fruits, plants, animals, reminiscent of vintage French prints or Audubon artwork. We love getting into this and making it wedding friendly. And, in the Fall, there is a whole new world that opens up with colors, textures, and seasonal elements. The above party pack (for a Tara Guerard client) featured a luxe fall palette with some of our favorite fall blooms.

To feature a floral or fauna pattern in a more sophisticated or subtle way, think about accessories like an envelope liner or stamps. The wedding would have an Italian feel, so olive branches were an unexpected nod to this.

The paper for this wedding included so many yummy pieces. Wood grain paper, actual cane paper, and hearty fruit, vine, and floral patterns.

For a very simple and traditional invitation suite, we created a leafy paper pattern based on a mural at the bride’s favorite NYC spot. It was used later for tray liners, and on fabric to cover a bar.

Another fall feel at a Tara Guerard Soiree wedding. Copper garden tags were “planted” in mini herb pots and displayed as an escort card table. We also designed the custom monogram that was embroidered on the table runner (which will be used in the couple’s new home), as well as the head table napkins… also a gift to the couple after the wedding.

From the same wedding above, our floral pattern was also used in a mirror image as the ceremony program cover.
